Waste Statistics

Waste and recycling statistics are reported every year in Council's Annual Report.

Targets are set each year in the Litchfield Council Municipal Plan.

The figures above provide a running total as to how we are tracking as a community in minmising our waste generation. 

All income raised through Cash for Containers and car battery recycling goes directly to our Community Grants Scheme.

Diverting waste from landfill reduces the costs to Council and is beneficial to the environment.
