New Council, New Plan

At January’s Council meeting, the Draft Strategic Plan 2022-2025 was endorsed so it can be provided to the public for comments.

Council have held a number of workshops to flesh out the direction they feel represents community views and develop a guide for Council to deliver a broad range of services and facilities that are valued by our community.
 

Road Opening Notices

Litchfield Council is proposing a road opening in two locations and are seeking public comments for these road openings in accordance with the NT Local Government Act 2019, Part 12.3 Section 273.

Message from the Mayor

NT Government - Arnhem Highway Duplication

The Northern Territory Government is undertaking a planning study for future duplication of a 10 kilometre section of the Arnhem Highway from the Stuart Highway intersection to Kostka Road in Humpty Doo.

The Arnhem Highway is a major arterial road that connects the Darwin region to Jabiru and Kakadu National Park.
