The following intersections have been identified to receive street lighting upgrades over the next two months;
- Intersection of Whitewood Road and Westall Road
- Intersection of Whitewood Road and Hicks Road
- Intersection of Girraween Road and Rogers Road
The works involve the installation of new street lights to illuminate the intersection at night.
Works are scheduled to start on 10th March 2025 and should be completed by the end of April 2025. There will be increased construction traffic through the area and minor delays might be expected.
Traffic management will be required during these works. The contractors will attempt to keep impact to a minimum. To ensure the safety of both the workforce and road users, a one-lane closure might be implemented during certain activities of the works
