About Council Meetings

Important COVID-19 information: please do not attend meetings if you are feeling unwell.

Council meetings lead and guide the good governance of the Municipality and provide a forum for Councillors to discuss various Council issues. Council conducts its formal decision making process through Ordinary Council Meetings and Special Council meetings when required.

Council Meetings are open to the public. A majority of Council members need to be present at a meeting for decisions to be made.

Council Meetings commence at 6.00pm and are held at the Litchfield Council Chambers, 7 Bees Creek Road, Freds Pass on the third Tuesday of every month (unless otherwise stated) and with the exception of the December meeting, which is held on the second Tuesday of the month.

The agenda is available three days prior to the meeting at the Council Offices and on the website. Copies are also made available to the public at the meeting.
