Livingstone Recreation Reserve

The Livingstone Recreation Reserve is run by a volunteer management committee who ensure a range of services and facilities are available for all to enjoy, especially the rural community. The Reserve is situated at Lot 2524, Livingstone Road, Livingstone and is just off the Stuart Highway about 1km down Livingstone Road, approximately 10km south of Noonamah.

Set amongst 64 hectares of natural bush land, this Reserve has a lot to offer families and the wider community, including an amazing playground for the kids. The Reserve is home to the Livingstone Volunteer Bushfire Brigade and the Litchfield Horse and Pony Club.

Facilities

There are a range of amenities at the Reserve, including a large open hall, oval, beach volleyball court, playground, and a picnic area. The hall, which is available for hire, is used regularly by community groups and is a great place for birthday parties, weddings, and community meetings.

The "34 Mile Bar and Bistro" has a permanent bar with qualified Chef prepared meals available. The hall features a pool table, large screen televisions and well-maintained gardens. The licensed bar is open every Friday night from 5.00pm till late with the kitchen open from 5:30pm - 9.00pm. Drinks and food are available at competitive prices. There is live music on the 2^ND Friday of the month with an open mic night on the last Saturday of the month from April through to September.

Membership

Visitors are welcome for up to 3 visits, but you are required to become a member after that. Please sign the visitors book at the front desk on arrival. Memberships are available at $15 per year, $25 for 2 years or $35 for 3 years. There is a ‘badge’ draw going up by $50 weekly, drawn around 8:30pm every Friday night until won. You must be present to win.
