The Livingstone Recreation Reserve is run by a volunteer management committee who ensure a range of services and facilities are available for all to enjoy, especially the rural community. The Reserve is situated at Lot 2524, Livingstone Road, Livingstone and is just off the Stuart Highway, approximately 10km from Noonamah.
Set amongst 64 hectares of natural bush land, this Reserve has a lot to offer families and the wider community. The Reserve is home to the Livingstone Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade and the Litchfield Horse and Pony Club.
There are a range of amenities at the Reserve including a large open hall, oval, beach volleyball court, playground and a picnic area. The hall, which is available for hire, is used regularly by community groups and is a great place for birthday parties, weddings and community meetings.
The "34 Mile Bar and Bistro" is a permanent bar where home cooked meals are available. The hall features a pool table, large screen televisions and a superb garden. The licensed bar and kitchen are open every Friday night from 5.30pm till late (the kitchen closes at 8.30pm) and drinks and food are sold at family affordable prices and wifi is available. Live music every month, on the last Friday of the month.
Visitors are welcome and can be signed in by a member, if you like the facilities please join, its only $15.00 a year for membership. Badge draw every Friday night at approx 8.30pm jackpotting by $50 each week until won. You must be there to win.
