As our Accountant you'll be responsible for maintaining precise financial records and delivering accounting and asset management support across the organisation. From reconciling ledgers to preparing statutory returns, you'll play a crucial role in our finance department.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Conducting reviews of accounting and asset procedures.
- Performing general ledger reconciliations and approving reconciliations by other finance staff.
- Preparing and submitting BAS, FBT, and other statutory returns.
- Ensuring data integrity in our financial systems.
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports and year-end financial statements.
- Assisting in asset input and reconciliation.
- Contributing to management accounting support for other teams.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in financial accounting and asset management.
- A strong grasp of financial software systems and data integrity processes.
- Excellent skills in preparing and submitting statutory returns (BAS, FBT, etc.).
- Ability to manage reconciliations, both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with preparing detailed financial reports and statements.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with an eye for detail.
