Litchfield Council’s CEO, Kaylene Conrick has resigned after three and half years in the top job to spend more time with family.

Ms Conrick took on the Litchfield role following a tumultuous period at Council.

“The decision to resign has been a very difficult one for me to make.  There are so many things I will miss.

“I am extremely proud of what we have achieved over the past years; with strong governance, a healthy culture and a well-positioned organisation, Litchfield Council has an exceptionally bright future.” Ms Conrick said

Litchfield Council’s Mayor, Maree Bredhauer said “I have really enjoyed working with Kaylene and I thank her for guidance, support and the transformative initiatives she has brought to Litchfield.

With Kaylene’s strong and successful experience in local government and Council’s vision and determination we have achieved great things!

I wish Kaylene all the best for life after Litchfield.” said Mayor Bredhauer.

A national recruitment process will commence shortly.
