It has come to Council’s attention that Howard Park Recreation Reserve was vandalised over the Easter weekend.
The signage and barriers closing off the skatepark were removed and glass bottles smashed all over the park.
Although the playground and skate park are closed, Howard Park and other Recreation Reserves (Freds Pass, McMinns Lagoon and Knuckey Lagoon) remain open to allow for the community to use the space for exercise in line with NT government protocols.
Please look after our community spaces, these areas are important, now more than ever, for physical and social wellbeing.
