Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 155 of the Local Government Act that the following special rates was declared by Lichfield Council on Thursday 12 December 2013.
Pursuant to Section 155(2) of the Act, the Council declares the following special purpose rates (''the Special Purpose Rates''):
Special Purpose Rate Area C Roads (''Special Purpose Rate ACR'');
- The purpose for which Special Purpose Rate ACR is to be imposed is to defray the expense of sealing roads within Area C (''Area C''), it being the opinion of the Council that such purpose is and will be of special benefit to the ratepayers of Area C.
- The amount to be raised by Special Purpose Rate ACR is $30,000
- Special Purpose Rate ACR is to be an amount of $3,000.00
- Special Purpose Rate ACR will be levied on that rateable land within Area C as identified in paragraph 5.
