JKC Australia LNG would like to inform the Community of some heavy vehicle movements which will be taking place as part of construction activities for the Ichthys Project Onshore LNG Facilities.
These movements will involve 8 line platform trailers, 11 line platform trailers and drop deck trailers departing from East Arm Wharf to Bladin Point via Wishart road, Elrundie Avenue and Channel Island Road. Special Traffic control measures will be in place as will pilot vehicles and ‘Oversize’ signage.
Date: Sunday 13th July
Estimated timeframe: Departure time is approx 6.30am
Description: Two loads travelling under 60km per hour
Special Notes: Special traffic control measures and Power &Water escort required the full trip for PMC employees completing line lifting operations.
Date: Monday 14th July
Description: Generator, One load
Estimated timeframe: Between 9.30 and 11.30am
Date: Tuesday 15th July
Description: Machinery, 7m wide
Estimated timeframe: TBC – During work hours
Special notes: Police escort at the front & two pilot vehicles behind the load
