The Federal Government has just opened the 2016 round of the popular Volunteer Grants funding program, with $10 million available to community organisations to help them support the efforts of their volunteers.
Organisations can apply for grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 to purchase much-needed equipment that supports volunteers'work, improves fundraising efforts and helps train volunteers.
Applications for Volunteer Grants funding close Tuesday, 20 December 2016 at 2pm AEDT.
