The Northern Territory Emergency Services have indicated that the cyclone warning for the Darwin region is likely to be downgraded at approximately 5pm.
The Thorak Regional Cemetery and Berry Springs, Howard's Springs and Humpty Doo Waste Transfer Stations will remain closed today.
All Council operations will resume as normal tomorrow.
