At Council's October Meeting, Council approved to waive the $5 per load green waste dumping fee for the next four years.
This initiative was trialled last year and proved very successful.
The cyclone season comes up fast and Council is encouraging residents to be prepared.
If you are a Litchfield resident, during the month of November, take your green waste to any of the three transfer stations - Berry Springs, Howards Springs and Humpty Doo FREE.
