Being cyclone prepared is important when living in the Top End, especially the rural area.

For the month of November, Council is waiving the green waste fee to assist residents with the pre-cyclone clean up.

Litchfield residents can take their green waste to any of the three transfer stations - Berry Springs, Howard Springs and Humpty Doo - FREE.

This is part of the Five-Year Waste Management Strategy and will continue until 2020.
