Entries are now open, and we are calling for local artists to submit pieces for the 2021 Litchfield Council Art Exhibition to be held in March 2021 at Council’s Howard Park Recreation Reserve.
Litchfield Council Mayor Maree Bredhauer said the Art Exhibition has been a great success over the past two years and we hope to continue that success with even more artwork from our talented local artists.
“The 2021 theme is water and with such inspirational waterways and water areas in the Litchfield region, the 2021 Art Exhibition is sure to produce some beautiful pieces.” the Mayor said.
The 2021 Art Exhibition will see more prize categories and almost $3,000 in prize money which includes a Mayor’s prize, Youth prize and Community Choice Award.
Eligibility criteria and entry details can be found on Litchfield Council’s website https://www.litchfield.nt.gov.au/your-council/events/2021-art-exhibition
Council has engaged Darwin Community Arts to run the very popular kids’ workshops over the weekend of the Art Exhibition and assist with the coordination of the event.
The 2021 Art Exhibition will be open to the public with free entry on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March 2021 from 10.00am to 5.00pm at Howard Park Recreation Reserve, Howard Springs.
