Come along for a relaxed community BBQ as we wrap up the Catch Up and Chill Men’s Program and celebrate Families Week together.
This free event marks the end of our Men’s Program, which ran fortnightly over the past six months with support from the Northern Territory Government Department of Health. The program has focused on giving our rural men a low-pressure way to get out, connect with others and take part in activities that support wellbeing, especially in our rural community.
Now we’re bringing everyone together for a family-friendly morning at Lakeview Hall, hosted by the Virginia Bees Creek Volunteer Fire Brigade.
There’ll be plenty to enjoy, with speakers sharing their stories on men's wellbeing as well as:
🌿 Free plant giveaway
☕ Free barista coffee
🌭 Free sausage sizzle
🛍️ Info and market stalls
🧚 Fairy Jill facepainting
🎨 Kids colouring competition
👨👩👧👦 A cruisy community BBQ for all ages
Come down, settle in with a coffee and sausage sizzle, and spend the morning connecting with your community.
Everyone is welcome. Bring the family, invite a neighbour and come along for a relaxed morning as we celebrate connection, wellbeing and the start of the dry season!
