A section of Freds Pass Road between Beaumont Road and Strangways Road has been identified as a blackspot due to a sharp bend in the road.
A decision has been made to realign Freds Pass Road at this location to improve community safety.
Council is required to undertake a road opening over a section of land to provide an appropriate road reserve to accommodate the realignment works (please refer to image).
Council is seeking public comments on this road opening proposal in accordance with Local Government Act, from now until Monday, 6 August 2018. Comments can be made by contacting Council via the contact us page or PO Box 446, Humpty Doo NT 0836.
