At January’s Council meeting, the Draft Strategic Plan 2022-2025 was endorsed so it can be provided to the public for comments.
Council have held a number of workshops to flesh out the direction they feel represents community views and develop a guide for Council to deliver a broad range of services and facilities that are valued by our community.
Mayor Barden, said it was unanimous that our community is at the heart of all we do, so we have put that in our Draft Strategy.
“We want to work in partnership with our community and stakeholders to deliver best value services and facilities with a focus on sustainable and efficient delivery’ the Mayor said.
The Draft Strategic Plan 2022-2025 represents its priorities under five P’s, Progress, Prosperity, People, Places and Performance.
“Our priorities focus on continuing to deliver all current services, advocacy, supporting recreation reserves, maintaining community infrastructure and value for money service delivery” Mayor Barden said.
The Draft Strategic Plan 2022-2025 will be open for public comment from Wednesday 19 January to Wednesday 16 February 2022.
Council encourages the community to participate and submit feedback and will provide opportunities for the community to engage with the Mayor, Councillors and staff.
