Reseal Program Update

The 2015/2016 reseal program is continuing with the following roads or sections of roads having been completed last week 7^th - 12^th December: Bronzewing Avenue, Jacomb Place, Virginia Road & Lambells Lagoon Road.

Elected Members Declared

The final counts and distribution of preferences are complete for the Litchfield Council. The following candidates have reached the absolute majority and have been declared this morning at the Declaration of Poll in Council Chambers.

Election Results

The official declaration of the election results will be announced at 10.00am Monday 7 December, Council Chambers, 7 Bees Creek Road, Bees Creek.

Permits to Burn

Will be available to Rural Landholders from 8.00am Monday 7 December 2015. Contact your local Fire Station or Volunteer Fire Brigade for inspections and permits.

Litchfield Council weed spraying and slashing program

Rains are slowly bringing some relief and with it comes weed and grass growth. Our team has already commenced spraying weeds, in particular targeting Gamba grass whilst in its juvenile stage.
