Review of Constitutional Arrangements

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23 of the Local Government Act 2008, the Litchfield Council is undertaking a review so as to assess the adequacy of the constitutional arrangements presently in place and, in particular, whether they provide the most effective possible representation for the council area.

Heavy Vehicle Movements Notification

Please be advised that, as part of the construction of the Ichthys Project Onshore LNG Facilities, heavy vehicle movements will take place this week between East Arm Wharf and Bladin Point site via Berrimah Road, Tiger Brennan Drive, Stuart Highway, Jenkins Road and Channel Island Road.

Adoption of the 2014/2015 Municipal Plan

Litchfield Council adopted the 2014/2015 Municipal Plan at its Ordinary Meeting of Council on Thursday 10^th July.

Bus Stop Shelters

Council received plans and application to commence work to install 5 Bus Stop Shelters on 21 May 2014. The Shelters are currently being constructed.
