Thorak Regional cemetery opened in 1988 to cater to the needs of a rapidly growing population. It is currently managed by Litchfield Council who have recognised that in order to continue to service the broader community and changing trends in funeral services that an overarching master plan is to be undertaken to guide the future development and business operations. Litchfield Council have engaged CLOUSTON Associates to deliver a master plan that will be guided by the outcomes of a thorough analysis of the site, operations and business plan, but more importantly from feedback from the stakeholders and wider community through an extensive consultation process.
