Howard Springs Waste Transfer Station Urgent Closure

The NT Fire Services has advised Council to close the Howard Springs Transfer Station immediately due to the threat of a large fire in the area.

Road Opening Notice

Council wishes to advise that a subdivision of Crown Land, for a lease in excess of 12 years, for creation of a single 2ha lot in the north west corner of Section 674, Hundred of Cavenagh, fronting Parkin Road was approved on 23 November 2017.

Road Closure

Council would like to advise school users and motorists of changed traffic conditions on Freds Pass Road adjacent to Humpty Doo Primary School.

Closing Date Extended

The closing date for the Annual Community Survey has been extended to Friday 29 June 2018 and we want to hear from you.

Palmerston Regional Hospital

The Palmerston Regional Hospital is expected to be open to patients in July 2018.

Knuckey Lagoon Recreation Reserve

Council would like to advise, Knuckey Lagoon Recreation Reserve is now open with some restricted areas.

Green Waste

To assist with the continued clean-up efforts from Cyclone Marcus, Council has extended the free green waste disposal until the end of April 2018.
